Valerie is a Registered Provisional Psychologist through the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) who trusts in the power of connection and the profound impact of feeling heard. She draws from the most relevant elements of Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-focused CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychoanalytic Therapy and combines them into a truly unique therapeutic approach that is structured, effective, and at the same time ultra-personalized to every client. One size fits all doesn’t live here. If it’s not working for you then it’s not working for me.

Counselling doesn't have to look the same for everyone. Therapy isn't cookie cutter- or at least it shouldn't be. It's a transformative process no matter where you find yourself on the healing journey.
Valerie completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology (specialization) in Montreal, QC, and her Masters of Science in Psychology. She is trained as a Behavior Technician through The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® (BACB®). She is also a member of Canadian Psychologists Association (CPA), and the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA).
